  • Yvonne Yap

    Founder
    Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychology

    Yvonne Yap works with children, adolescent and adults with autism, intellectual disability, behavioral disorder and related disorders. She began working in 2006 with individuals diagnosed with the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

    She graduated with her Master's Degree in Arts in Child and Adolescent Psychology with an emphasis in Family Systems at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2012. Prior to this she completed her bachelors studies at Bemidji State University (Minnesota) in Psychology in 2008.

    Yvonne also completed the Applied Behavior Analysis Advanced Series with Florida Institute of Technology along with 1500 clinical supervised hours followed by gaining the BCBA certification in 2015.

    She has worked effectively with individuals in clinics, schools, adult day programs and in-home based settings.

  • Shawn Joinson

    Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis

    Shawn Joinson is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 5 years of dedicated experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). He graduated with a Masters degree in ABA at Bangor University after completing his BSc in Psychology.

    Shawn has worked extensively with clients across a range of ages, from early childhood to young adults, addressing a diverse range of behavioral challenges and developmental needs. His experience includes working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental delays, and other behavioral disorders.

    During his time at Be Me, Shawn has worked collaboratively with schools, nurseries and other allied professionals. Through these collaborations, he has facilitated interdisciplinary approaches to support clients with complex needs, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to treatment.

    Shawn’s dedication to his clients' well-being makes him a valued member of Be Me’s team. He is passionate about empowering individuals and families to achieve meaningful and lasting change.

  • Ranna Ali

    Speech and Language Pathologist

    Ranna Ali is a licensed Speech Therapist specializing in childhood speech and language development. She earned her degree from the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, India. She has extensive experience in both clinic and special school settings, Ranna has developed her skills in diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, including communication skills, speech sound issues, language delays, stuttering, and voice disorders. Her certificate in Oral Placement Therapy technique helps her to improve oral sensory and feeding issues in her students.

    Ranna is passionate about making therapy fun and engaging for her students, using a variety of games and interactive activities to keep them motivated and excited about learning.

    In her practice, Ranna creates personalized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and abilities. She works closely with families and teachers to provide guidance on supporting their child's development at home and school, ensuring continuity of care and progress outside of therapy sessions. Ranna also values open communication with parents, providing regular updates and discussing any concerns they may have.

  • Anna Praveen

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
    Master's in Clinical Psychology

    Anna has more than 5 years of Professional experience in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis as well as Clinical Psychology.

    A strong background in both individual and group therapy has made her adept at assessments, interventions, evaluation, and ABA techniques. She has experience supporting individuals and their families across the age group of 2- 18 years old. Anna specializes in early intervention and child development.

    She has also worked in autism centers, clinics, homes and schools which broadened her clinical knowledge in a variety of settings for generalisation.

  • Sania Muhammad

    Behavior Therapist
    Bachelors in Psychology with Counseling Skills

    Sania has 5 years of experience working with neurodivergent children. She has experience in ABA sessions in different schools with transition classrooms, and centers with children aged 02 – 16 years old with Autism and other related disorders. She has worked with children with intellectual disabilities, ADHD, OCD, and other behavioral challenges in American School of Creative Science Nad Al Sheba and Al Ittihad Private School, and was also the Inclusivity Champion at Mawaheb.

    Sania graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middlesex University Dubai. She is well-versed in Behavior Analytic Skills and Psychology and has won several accolades, including the first prize in the Student Research Conference at her university. She is also certified from John Hopkins University in providing Psychological First Aid.

  • Tala Diya

    Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
    Bachelors in Psychology

    Tala graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She started her career in different inclusive clinics and has extensive experience in interacting with children of various ages and diverse needs.

    Tala use evidence-based methodologies on the unique needs of each child. Her strong clinical background in Child Psychology has made her strongly acquainted with ABA interventions and Behavior Analytic programs and techniques. She is highly committed and passionate in working with children, families, specialist, and teachers to improve the quality of life and ease that transitions of kids at a young age.

  • Zahra Jamal

    Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT)

    Zahra graduated with a BDS from the University of Karachi with a certificate as a Special Education Needs Coordinator. She then worked in a nursery assisting with students of determination and completed her ABA training.

    Zahra has been an educator since 2015 and continues to be passionate and committed in teaching her students to reach their full potential. She helped children develop learning skills (verbal, written, numeric) through fun lessons and interesting activities, encouraging creativity, independent thoughts, and expression. Zahra uses her skills in understanding the curriculum and Behavior Analytic skills to assist students in learning using efficient strategies.

  • Maya Elemam

    Maya Elemam
    Behavior Therapist
    MSc Developmental Disorders

    Maya is well versed with various ABA interventions and techniques to increase adaptive skills and improving language, social, self-help, and academic skills. She has previously worked in a clinical setting in Egypt where she received comprehensive training in various assessments. Maya has received her certification in Psychological First Aid from Johns Hopkins university and a certification in managing ADHD, ASD, Learning disabilities and concussions in a school setting from Colorado University. Maya’s passion lies in supporting children reach their full potential.

    Maya completed her Masters of Science degree in Developmental Disorders and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham.

  • Hina Meghani

    Registered Behavior Technician Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis

    Hina is currently working towards gaining her Board Certification in ABA. She has 6 years of experience working with children aged 2 to 5 years old with ASD, ADHD and other developmental delays. She has worked in variety of settings like clinic, schools, nurseries and home based.

    Her area of expertise is applying skill acquisition plans and behavior reduction plans. She is really passionate about working with children of different abilities and exploring various learning opportunities. She loves to celebrate children’s individuality and works towards acceptance and inclusion.
